Description

Join us for Modular Origami @ SUMM, designed for families with children aged 7+ or individual adults with beginner to intermediate origami experience! Led by origami expert Rona Gurkewitz, participants will explore geometry through the art of origami. In each class, you will build orgami units (modules) that can be pieced together for a more complex shape. The difficulty of this class is considered Low Intermediate according to OrigamiUSA. All materials are provided. 

When: 6 sessions on the 4th Saturday of each month, January to June, 10am - 12pm

Where: 2100 24th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144, Art Room (Suite 300)

Sessions Schedule:

  • Session 1 - January 24
  • Session 2 - February 28
  • Session 3 - March 28
  • Session 4 - April 25
  • Session 5 - May 23
  • Session 6 - June 27

Children must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver, who will be encouraged to participate as well to create a shared learning experience.
